Waste removal dumpster at home improvement project

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about renting a dumpster on Long Island.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

Our standard rental period is 7 days, which works for most residential and small commercial projects. If you need more time, just let us know — we offer flexible extensions at a reasonable daily rate. There's no penalty for finishing early either.

What dumpster sizes do you offer?

We offer four sizes to fit any project: 10 yard (great for small cleanouts and garage clearing), 15 yard (kitchen/bathroom remodels), 20 yard (roof tear-offs and renovations), and 30 yard (major construction and demolition). Not sure which size you need? Call us and we'll help you figure it out.

What can I put in the dumpster?

Most household and construction debris is fine: furniture, appliances, wood, drywall, roofing materials, yard waste, and general junk. We'll haul away almost anything from your cleanout or renovation project.

What can't go in the dumpster?

No concrete (unless you specifically order a concrete-only dumpster), no mattresses (your town's bulk pickup handles those), and no hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, oil, batteries, tires, or asbestos. Electronics and appliances with refrigerants (like fridges and AC units) may have additional fees. When in doubt, just ask — we're happy to clarify.

How fast can you deliver?

We offer same-day and next-day delivery for most locations in Nassau and Suffolk County. When you call, we'll give you a specific delivery window so you're not waiting around all day. We show up when we say we will.

Do I need a permit for the dumpster?

If the dumpster is placed on your private property (driveway, yard, etc.), you typically don't need a permit. If it needs to go on the street or public right-of-way, you may need a permit from your town. We can advise you on this when you call.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Nassau County and Suffolk County — from the Queens border to the Hamptons. If you're on Long Island, we've got you covered. Visit our service areas page to find your town, or just tell us your location when you call.

How does pricing work?

Our pricing is straightforward with no hidden fees. The price includes delivery, pickup, and disposal up to a certain weight limit. We'll give you a clear quote over the phone based on the dumpster size and your location. No surprises when the bill comes.

Can you load the dumpster for me?

Yes! We offer a loading service where our crew does the heavy lifting. This is perfect for estate cleanouts, hoarding situations, or when you just don't have the time or ability to load it yourself. Ask about bundling dumpster rental with loading service.

What if I fill the dumpster before my rental period ends?

Just give us a call and we'll come pick it up early — there's no penalty for finishing ahead of schedule. If you need another dumpster, we can swap it out or schedule a second delivery.

Do you offer demolition services?

Yes! We handle residential and light commercial demolition including shed removal, deck demolition, interior tear-outs, bathroom/kitchen demo, and more. We can bundle demolition with dumpster rental for a complete solution.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule your delivery, just call us as soon as you know. We're flexible and will work with you to find a new time that works.
